World Refugee Day is an annual opportunity for us all to remember that the plight of refugees has affected most nations at some point in history. Since 2008, Brisbane City Council has partnered with MDA to celebrate World Refugee Day, to ensure Brisbane is a city where residents from refugee backgrounds can feel welcome and make a valuable contribution to social and civic life.
